Well, this is really interesting <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" title=":D (Big Grin)"/>

The first thing I was grabbed by was the color. I really love the way the blue mixes with the earthy grey under the water. You really managed to turn something ugly and common as a mud puddle into something fascinating and beautiful.

The different layers are intriguing as well; the mud underneath, the water above and the reflection of trees above that. There's a surreal quality to it I really like <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" title=":D (Big Grin)"/> I also like that the mud flakes almost mimic the shapes of the branches.

Constructively, the edges of the puddle are a little distracting, especially in the lower left corner there and along the top edge. If you could crop around those, or shoot in such a way to remove them, I think it would up the surreality of the shot becuase it would make it more difficult to tell what exactly we're looking at. All in all though, fantastic shot <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/h/h…" width="15" height="13" alt=":heart:" title="Heart"/>
